ENGRAVED ITEMS TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Cornell Surgical engraves stethoscopes and diagnostic sets using Arial font only.

Engravings on Littmann Classic III and Cardiology IV stethoscopes are placed along the bell. Other stethoscope brands and pediatric stethoscopes may be engraved within the bell depending on the model. Diagnostic sets are engraved along the handle.

Engraving text appears large along the side whenever possible. The final engraving size depends on the number of characters entered. We recommend a maximum of 18 characters for best visibility. Longer text may appear significantly smaller.

Your engraving will be engraved EXACTLY as entered in the engraving text box, including capitalization, spacing, and punctuation. Cornell Surgical is not responsible for misspellings, formatting errors, or incorrect text submitted by the customer.

We do not engrave emojis, symbols, or special/custom fonts. Any text entered using unsupported fonts will automatically be converted to Arial. Emojis will not be engraved.

If a custom or unsupported font cannot be properly interpreted, our team will make a reasonable effort to convert the text. Cornell Surgical is not responsible for any errors resulting from unsupported fonts or characters and does not offer replacements, refunds, or compensation for such issues. Cornell Surgical will NOT reach out regarding these issues.

Engraving is a separate service charged at $10.50 and may appear as a separate line item during checkout. If the engraving charge is removed, your item will not be engraved.

Orders submitted without engraving text will be shipped with no engraving. In this case, customers may request a refund of the $10.50 engraving fee only (if engraving was paid for). Cornell Surgical will not accept returns to engrave products after delivery.

Changes to engraving text cannot be guaranteed after an order has been placed. Engraved items are often completed and packed for shipment within minutes of order placement. Please review all engraving text and order details carefully before submitting your order.

All engraved items are final sale. No refunds or returns will be accepted for any reason once engraving has been completed.

Engraving appearance, color contrast, and depth may vary depending on the stethoscope or product color/material. Cornell Surgical is not responsible for natural variations in engraving depth or appearance.
- Please note that engraved items are non-returnable if the product has a manufacturer defect. Any manufacturer defect claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer under their warranty policy. In most cases, the manufacturer will replace the item at no charge. Cornell Surgical is not responsible for manufacturer defects or warranty-related issues. Our engraving process is surface-level only and does not cause damage or alter the functionality of any product in any way.
